Your site has a lot of good poetry (it just didn't interest me
personally that much). I also liked your holiday pages. The content
definitely adds to the internet.
Design: 4/10
I didn't like how your site was designed, there was hardly any
uniformity to the site. Uniformity is what makes the difference between a
site and a bunch of pages. I also didn't like the music, it crashed both
Netscape and IE for me...which definitely lowers your score. Basically the
background/buttons were great. The music was great. BUT there is too much
of a good thing in your site.
Navigation: 6/10
I got confused going through your site, some pages had like five or six
buttons, others had just next/back/home, others had a list of MANY links,
and others had a scroll down menu. Try ONE idea and stick with it. Maybe
have home pages for your different sections and enable someone to go to the
home pages from anywhere in your site. I dunno, just a suggestion.
My Impression: 8/10
You have a good site, you know what looks good together on a page, now
you just need to figure out how to put all those pages together and make
them fit together. I like to compare a site to a puzzle, you put it
together by placing the pieces that have the same design together. Here's
the bright spot, you describe your site as exactly what it is. You don't
make any false claims, and I like that. Your content was rich and your
pages were attractive.
